The McKeesport Community Newsroom supports citizen journalism and storytelling by interested residents of the Mon Valley's largest city and surrounding areas. We host monthly meetings for writers to develop and share untold stories from their communities, and offer workshops in other media, including photography and audio storytelling for teens and adults. We also host an ongoing speakers’ program featuring local media professionals through a partnership with the Carnegie Free Library of McKeesport.
