Laskas has authored eight books including Concussion, Fifty Acres and a Poodle and To Obama: With Love, Joy Anger and Hope. Laskas is also the co-creator of Cement City, a podcast about life in Donora and the individuals who call it home.
Her essays have appeared in the New Yorker, Esquire, The Atlantic, GQ and the New York Times Magazine.
