Making Movies on the Mon: A Filmmaking Workshop with Smartphones for Teens

Making Movies on The Mon is a three-day filmmaking workshop for Teens at the Carnegie Library of McKeesport on the basics of how to shoot, produce and edit a film on a smartphone. Students will interview their peers and other community members in order to tell an untold and underreported story. The workshop will provide an introduction to professional filming techniques, production skills and editing software. Teens will work together to create a short video and will present it for community feedback at the end of the workshop.

The workshop continues on Tuesday and Wednesday evening, July 20 & 21 from 6-8 p.m.

Free and open to ages 12 and older.
