"Voices from the Valley" Podcasting Workshop for Teens

Voices from the Valley is a free weekly workshop open to teenagers residing in the Mon Valley who want to learn how to develop audio and interviewing skills to make your own podcast. Students will learn to interview members in their community in order to tell untold and underreported stories. Students will learn how to use audio apps like Audacity and create a narrative with recorded interviews, scripts, music and world-building sounds.

The ten week workshop will be held on Friday afternoons beginning Feb 5 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Local journalist and author Brittany Hailer will be lead the workshop.
